East Smoke is a ceramic studio based in Seoul. Studio Ja-yeon 紫煙 (East Smoke) takes its name from the Chinese characters ja (purple) and yeon (smoke), drawing motifs from nature and the East. Using hand-building techniques, they create clay objects that feel both singular and whole.
