A Kind Garden by An Sangmi

A Kind Garden is a photobook by photographer An Sangmi. Released alongside the artist’s first solo exhibition in May 2026, SEEN & LEFT (예쁜마음), this photobook captures the large and small gardens discovered through An Sangmi’s warm and affectionate lens.

Seeing a construction site's outer wall covered like a green forest, or a single flower growing from a crack in the asphalt remaining in its place weeks later, the artist says she felt an inexplicable sense of reassurance. The moment the greenery found in the crevices of unfamiliar streets transformed into a garden, a 'beautiful mind' quietly began to sprout in a corner of her heart.
